Getting to Know Candice
Sometimes things happen in life that make us stop and reassess our lives. Whether it be a situation, conversation, an illness or even a trauma. In my case it was a trauma. In July of 2000, I was in a serious car accident. One tends to have a lot of time to think in a year and a half while undergoing two surgeries, lots of physical and occupational therapy and getting back to a normal life. You realize that life is short and can change in a split second. During my time of recuperation, I found myself evaluating where I was at in life and was it where I hoped to be. I discovered that I hadn’t been living a life of purpose and that I was just going through the day-to-day motions. My life had mostly been about stressing over obtaining short-term goals; focusing on the destination and not enjoying the journey. I decided in that moment that as soon as I fully recovered to start my own consulting business. My goal is to help dental professionals grow their practices and together we can make a difference in the lives of patients and in our industry.
